The latest update for the Joomla 1.5.x series has just been released. 

The Joomla 1.5.x series is coming to end of life very soon so this will be one of the last updates before support for the series comes to an end.

For web administrators running 1.5.x websites this is a important update with a high security risk update.

Google have announced that they have tweaked the search algorithm that they released with the huge Google Panda update.

For many of the people that exploit the search engine this means that their site may get hit. Some have even reported to have been completely delisted off Google.

With the intorduction of CSS3 came text drop shadows. It is a great effect used on many websites today to add a little bit more creative design flair to a site.

cPanel End Support for PHP4

Recently cPanel announced that it was no longer supporting PHP4 in it's distributions. For many this won't affect your services or your website but for those few that have old hosting environment running old WordPress, Joomla or Drupal website's, it is definately a must to not only upgrade to the latest version of PHP for your server but to also make sure your site installation is up to date.
